Julie has been attending births as a Doula since 2008 and certified with DONA in 2010.  Julie is a member of the Belly Bliss Doula Group.  The group of four doulas (Julie Olson, along with Lauren Williams, Jennifer Lux and Shannon Faber) share time "on-call" and host monthly Belly Circle prenatal group meetings for all of their clients.  The group structure allows the Doulas to provide the most reliable and comprehensive service to their clients, while ensuring clients are attended to by a Doula  who is fresh and readily available when needed.  In addition to the monthly Belly Circle meetings, clients have at least one individual meeting with a Doula and an in-home postpartum visit following your birth.  

The Doula limits their availability and will only accept four clients per month (based on due dates).  The fee for Doula services is $1000.  A deposit of $300 is due when hired and the balance is due by 36 weeks.  A $50 discount is available for clients who complete either the Prepared Childbirth or Natural Childbirth Courses at Belly Bliss.   Some insurance plans will reimburse all or part of the cost of the doula fee and the fee may qualify for reimbursement from a Health Savings Account.
