Certified Bradley® Doula & trained DONA Birth Doula.
I have been working as a Doula for the past year and have attended 5 births. Additionally, I have four years of experience teaching Childbirth Education courses and I have given birth twice myself. I have submitted my DONA Birth Doula application to complete my certification, I am offering a reduced fee ($400) until my certification is finalized! I am currently available to anyone needing support for their birth and have a due date after February 15th, 2010. Contact me to set up a free informational interview.
My services include:
Two or three prenatal appointments to discuss your preferences for your birth, my role in your birth and to become comfortable together as a team.
I am on call 24 hours a day from 38 weeks on. I will come to your home and/or your birth place to assist you in active labor. I will remain with you continuously through out the labor and after the birth until you are settled and comfortable.
I will attend births in any local hospital, the birth center or at home.
I strive to support both the mother and her partner. I will not replace the coach/father/partner, but provide assistance, guidance, and reassurance.
At least one postpartum visit to help answer questions and ease your transition with a new baby.
